The bad one:
$ pip install -e .[dev]
zsh: no matches found: .[dev]
$ python -m pip install -e .[dev]
zsh: no matches found: .[dev]
The good one:
$ pip install -e '.[dev]'

...
$ python -m pip install -e '.[dev]'
