Description

Description

The Files app (version 4.0.0.0) crashes instantly when right-clicking on any file, which results in a fault in ntdll.dll.

Right-clicking on folders works perfectly fine and does not cause any instability. The context menu for folders appears as expected. This strongly suggests the issue is related to the process of loading context menu handlers (shell extensions) that are specific to file types.

Steps To Reproduce

1.Open the Files app and navigate to any directory that contains both files and folders.

2.Right-click on any folder. The context menu appears correctly.

3.Right-click on any file (e.g., a .txt, .jpg, .pdf, .exe).

4.The application instantly crashes.
