Custom ESP32-C3 board flashed by USB connected to GPIO18/19, use as serial in normal operation #7102

Hello,
I would like to create a custom board based on ESP32-C3 to use WiFi/BLE capabilities.
What is more, I would like to also include a USB port as a safety net in case something will fail and use it to communicate with PC over serial as well as for programming purposes. Can it be done? What settings should I choose to flash with USB/JTAG in Arduino IDE?
Is connecting BOOT pin to GND before powering circuit enough to enter JTAG programming mode? In normal operation, it will be connected to VCC and then it will act as a serial port?
