User Experience Improvements

This in combination with a list of bugs, polish, and features in the Slack, should serve as a starting point to scope and prioritize some of the improvements we want to make to the frontend or client-side work on the platform.

Aim to link to known GitHub issues as well, to reduce duplication and have a single source of truth.
