bootc install to-filesystem /boot handling #1484

Hi, I am using the bootc install to-filesystem command. I am wondering how it is dealing with the /boot directory population in the EFI environment. Normally there are 3 partitions: EFI, boot and then the sysroot target partition. When I am using the bootc install to-filesystem it expect to have only single empty boot directory presented. If I understand correct it will deploy a bootloader details there. But if then it will hook it to existing EFI partition etc? Can someone explain this procedure a bit more?
