Product / category url with existing stencil store #1919

Hello, if you have an existing stencil store how does the URL's work when a catalyst store is added? Obviously they can't share the same product url but I guess my question is there an easy way to shutdown the stencil store and use the same product url for the catalyst store without having to do 301 redirects.
