Key questions: is it ok for this material to be reused without releasing the source? Is it ok to remix it without crediting authorship?

As a tutorial site, people need to be able to mooch snippets without qualms of having angry lawyers sue them. However, if the example work is substantial, then it shouldn't be crassly used without some reference to its originator. Further, the docs should not be copied and remixed as someone else's original work; it should be remixed as a derived work.
