**The memory partitioning process for the Portenta Machine Control follows the same procedure as the OptaTM.** You will need the latest `Arduino Mbed OS Portenta Boards` core version. If you do not have the latest version, please refer to the [Setting Up the Arduino IDE](#setting-up-the-arduino-ide) section before proceeding.
