Originally from #1124. The critical point is in #1124 (comment).

Arduino IDE (or any Theia application [See: eclipse-theia/theia#12064]) is non-functional if the application path contains a #.

Unfortunately, I could not find any easy way to provide a workaround with DI: eclipse-theia/theia#12064 (comment).

To reproduce

1. Install the Arduino IDE application under a path that contains a #
2. Start Arduino IDE.

🐛 There is no syntax coloring in the Arduino IDE editor.

Expected behavior

There is syntax coloring of sketch files, all VS Code extensions load.
