Reverting Instance Snapshot Removes UEFI:SECURE from VM Settings #12512

Description

problem

If I create an instance snapshot of a KVM VM (not selecting the snapshot memory or quiesce instance options) with UEFI secure boot, and revert that instance snapshot, it will remove the UEFI:SECURE setting and the VM attempts to boot in BIOS mode. For what it's worth, this VM was created from an ISO, not a template.

versions

4.22.0.0, Ubuntu 22.04 KVM hosts

The steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Create instance snapshot of a VM that has UEFI:SECURE configured, without selecting snapshot memory or quiesce instance options
  2. Power off the instance
  3. Revert to snapshot

What to do about it?
