Curious to know what the status of Iceberg support looks like for Auron. Has work on this already started? Should we start a new issue to track this? I know there was #947 but it did not get much traction.

Thanks! Open to collaborate on this as well.

There are some experiences with Iceberg integration in Comet that are worth learning from. apache/datafusion-comet#2921
