Poll: Best UX/UI #4

I have my own ideas of what I like in applications: compact design, no nested touch elements, no overly round corners, no pastels, logical input methods for numbers, no unexplained gestures or widgets. In fact, the current version of the app violates some of these principles. Seekbars are an industry standard but not necessarily my favorite for gain; it might be nicer to have buttons for -6 dB, -0.5, +0.5, and +6 on either side of the (editable) gain digit display. The microphone button isn't clearly described right now (and the yellow icon needs a clearer role; it previously indicated a microphone was plugged in but not communicating with the app, and with some changes to app permissions, it now sometimes shows up in weird scenarios, like if no setting has been adjusted for several minutes.

That was a lot of chatter. To paraphrase, "Can we do better?"
