[FAQ] Does Carbide need NVIDIA Mission Control to function? #220

No. Carbide operates independently as a site-local component. It does not require NVIDIA Mission Control to function. However, they work better together—NVIDIA Mission Control leveraging Base Command Manager can deploy orchestrators (K8s/Slurm) on top of Carbide-managed infrastructure.
