How to Report Bugs Effectively

Found a bug? We want to fix it! Help us help you by providing the right information.

Before Reporting

  1. Check existing issues — search GitHub Issues first
  2. Try basic troubleshooting:
    • Clear browser cache and refresh
    • Try a different browser
    • Check if it's a Google API outage at Google Workspace Status
  3. Check your setup — ensure domain-wide delegation is still active and APIs are enabled

Bug Report Template

When creating a new issue on GitHub Issues, please include:

**Describe the bug**
A clear description of what the bug is.
**To reproduce**
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '...'
3. Scroll down to '...'
4. See error
**Expected behavior**
What you expected to happen.
**Screenshots**
If applicable, add screenshots. REDACT any sensitive data!
**Environment:**
- Plan: [Free / Pro / Business]
- Google Workspace edition: [e.g., Business Standard]
- Browser: [e.g., Chrome 120]
- Number of users in workspace: [approximate]
**Additional context**
Any other relevant information.

What Happens Next

  1. We'll triage the issue within 2 business days
  2. We'll label it with priority and area
  3. We'll provide an estimated timeline if possible
  4. You'll be notified when a fix is released
