Community Guidelines

Welcome to the MonitorWorkspace community! To keep discussions productive and respectful, please follow these guidelines.

Be Respectful

• Treat everyone with respect — we're all here to learn and help each other
• No harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks
• Assume good intent — if something seems off, ask for clarification before reacting
• Keep discussions professional and constructive

Stay On Topic

• Use the correct category for your post (Q&A for questions, Ideas for feature requests, etc.)
• Search before posting — your question may already have an answer
• Keep discussions focused on MonitorWorkspace and Google Workspace administration
• Off-topic or spam posts will be removed

When Asking for Help

• Describe the problem clearly — what you expected vs. what happened
• Include context — your plan tier, Google Workspace edition, browser, etc.
• Share error messages — copy/paste the full error, don't just say "it doesn't work"
• Redact sensitive info — never post API keys, service account credentials, email addresses of your users, or other sensitive data
• Follow up — if you solved it, share the solution so others can benefit

When Sharing Ideas

• Describe the problem you're trying to solve, not just the feature you want
• Check if a similar idea already exists and add your vote/comment there instead
• Be open to alternative solutions — the team may solve the problem differently

Security Considerations

MonitorWorkspace deals with sensitive organizational data. Please:

• NEVER post service account keys, OAuth tokens, or API credentials
• NEVER share real user data (emails, names, chat messages) from your organization
• Use placeholder data or redact sensitive information in screenshots
• Report security vulnerabilities privately via email, not in public discussions

Moderation

• The MonitorWorkspace team reserves the right to edit or remove content that violates these guidelines
• Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent bans
• If you see a post that violates these guidelines, report it rather than engaging
