What do I need to get started?

1. A Google Workspace account with Super Admin privileges
2. A GCP project with the following APIs enabled:
   • Admin SDK API
   • Gmail API
   • Google Chat API
   • Google Workspace License API
3. Domain-wide delegation configured for the service account

What Google Workspace editions are supported?

MonitorWorkspace works with all Google Workspace editions:

• Business Starter, Standard, Plus
• Enterprise Standard, Plus
• Education (Fundamentals, Standard, Plus, Teaching & Learning)
• Essentials

How does monitoring work?

MonitorWorkspace uses Google's Admin SDK and Gmail API with domain-wide delegation. This means:

• No agents or software installed on user devices
• No browser extensions required
• All data is accessed through official Google APIs
• Audit trail of all admin actions

Is user data stored on your servers?

MonitorWorkspace acts as a pass-through viewer for most data. We do not permanently store email content or chat messages. We store:

• User metadata (names, emails, org units)
• Group membership data
• Audit logs of admin actions
• License allocation data

What's the difference between Free and paid plans?

How do I upgrade my plan?

Go to Settings > Billing in your MonitorWorkspace dashboard. You can upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and annual billing at any time.
