I recently was having a very hard time with my joystick on MSFS 24 because they were recognized as XInput devices. I struggled a while until I finally found that with WINE_PREFIX=/path/to/pfx wine control joy.cpl I could override them to DInput.
Couldn't there be a more practical way to do this directly in protontricks, like an option to open control panel menus ?
