Up-to-date News on GCJ

Hi,
 Dave Yost pointed out in a private mail that by looking
at the GCJ home page:
 http://gcc.gnu.org/java/
one might conclude that GCJ has apparently been comatose
for about 15 months. We know this is not true - if nothing
else, the direct inclusion of GNU Classpath was a fairly
significant event. The new stack trace infrastructure was
another newsworthy event, IMHO.
There are two ways we can tackle this problem:
 1. Insert back-dated news items for these events and vow
 (yet again) to keep the news up-to-date.
 2. Remove the "GCJ News" section and redirect people to
 an appropriate page on the GCC Wiki.
I volunteer to rectify the immediate problem whether #1
or #2 is agreed upon. Whichever option we agree to, can
someone please point out other significant events apart
from the two I mentioned earlier?
GCC itself also suffers from this problem. If one looks at:
 http://gcc.gnu.org/
one might conclude that nothing too exciting has been
happening with GCC, except occasional releases. However,
even a casual and irregular browsing of the mailing
lists (gcc@ and gcc-patches@) can tell you that this would
be far from the truth.
