generic support? status of bug 9861

The new gcj ABI does address this bug, but the changeover is not
complete. Once the work is done, this problem will go away. It's not
a huge deal now that we have most of the work in libgcj already done.
However, we don't have any immediate plans to make this work with CNI.
Personally I don't think that this is a huge deal, but others may
differ.
