A good place to start would be the GCC Bugzilla:
 http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/
If you set "Component" to either "java" or "libgcj"
in the Bugzilla query form, you can get a list of
open bugs in the GCJ front-end and runtime library
respectively.
