What libtool patch?

On the GCJ "Status" page, under Supported Targets, I see
that AMD x64-64 architecture is supported, but the note
says a libtool patch is needed if I'm doing multilib support
(which I am). What libtool patch is that? Is there a URL
that gives more details on this?
