gcj compilation

hi all,
I'm trying to compile gcj con a mips patform:
I compileg gcc-3.3.4
../gcc/configure --enable-threads=posix --enable-libgcj 
--prefix=/home/joerg/g\
cc --enable-shared --enable-languages=c++,java
make bootstrap
make
but when I run
gcj --main=Hello -o Hello Hello.java
I get
gcj: libgcj.spec: No such file or directory
As I understand, the libjava is missing: so I did
cd javalib
./configure --enable-threads=posix --prefix=/home/joerg/gcc
--with-system-zlib
make
but the make stos with:
c++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I./include -I./gcj -I. -Iinclude
-I./include -I./.\

Any idea what's going on? The file Object.h is the following.
