While I can't help you find out why GCJ isn't
able to load these JARs or classes, I would
still like to point you to mod-gcj:
 http://mod-gcj.sourceforge.net/
(Do look at the "problems" and "design blueprint"
pages at that site.)
Its author Hannes Wallnoefer might be able to
provide some insights into this problem.
