(!) Interoperability Patches for RMI

The usual rule is that a patch greater than 10 lines requires
assignment. I'll send you the form.

If you like, we can make a new module in the Mauve cvs for these
tests. We've already got three modules there, and it's (minorly)
convenient to collect tests in roughly the same place.
