Invoking natively compiled Java from C++

Hi,
 New to the list. I tried to find out about this in CNI but it seems 
that it's about using C++ from compiled Java. I'm currently using Ice 
(http://zeroc.com/ice.html), a CORBA like distributed middleware. It 
support Java binding from it's C++ core. I am interested in using 
compiled Java codes with Ice but I don't seem to be able to find 
reference in the document about doing this. Is there an API to invoke 
the compiled Java class in libgcj?
