OpenOffice and gcj at runtime

Well OOo 1.9.X and HEAD gcj at buildtime works on my OOo gcj1 branch. A
bit of foo at runtime (UNO java component registration) though which
boils down to the standalone example at ...
http://people.redhat.com/caolanm/gcj.problems/runtime.tar.gz
with (FC3) gcj/g++ 3.4.2 this example fails
with (rawhide) gcj/g++ 3.4.3 this example fails
with gcj/g++ from head (20041126) this example passes.
Mixing gcj from head and g++ 3.4.2 and the example fails, which is
more-or-less what I was doing with OOo (started with 3.4.2 and moved to
the head gcj because of the URL snafu) :-) I deserved that I guess, can
hardly complain about doing something odd like that.
So if I want to build OOo totally with gcj/g++ 4 from head I have to
backoff a bit and and do a gcc4 build with OOo and fix what gcc4 and OOo
problems may arise there (many), alternatively if a 3.4.X materialized
which could pass the runtime.tar.gz test and the previous
xt.problem.tar.gz java.net.URL.URL test then I think that would do the
trick as well (hint hint)
C.
