State of AWT/GTK peers?

Hi again!
I've just downloaded SableVM-1.1.3 to test the new classpath release, 
because to set up GCJ isn't so trivial.
Because SableVM is mostly based on unmodiefied classpath and the AWT 
really works good (!),I've a questions.
Are Classpath's awt peers comparable to gcj awt peer's till gcj's one 
are written using CNI.
