strange error when trying to compile jar-file to native code (verification error at PC=171)

This is a bug in gcj. For the gcj-compiled eclipse, we worked around
this problem by disabling parts of the gcj verifier. I consider this
to be a hack, though, and I'm against putting this patch into the cvs
gcc. Instead, someone must fix the gcj verifier.
We've talked about a few ways to accomplish this, but as yet nobody
has had the time to work on it :-(
