compiling gnujaxp

Has anyone compiled gnujaxp, or is it already included in libgcj.
I'm using gcj-3.3.1.
I've tried:
>gcj-3.3.1 -O3 -shared -fPIC -o gnujaxp.so gnujaxp.jar

and get mnay errors of the form:
gnu/xml/dom/DomNsNode.java:137: error: class 'gnu.xml.dom.DomNsNode' has
no method named 'getNodeType' matching signature '()S'
