The snapshot is a bit old now. Let me re-try with a more recent
snapshot. I'll keep you posted on whether it worked.

RH9 is a sea of change from RH8; as far as I can see, to the better.
Even Nautilus doesn't crash any longer as if there were no tomorrow ...
So we've re-installed all our linux developer laptops with RH9. Such a
shame that mine (Compaq Presario 2100) sports a undisclosed variation of
the Radeon Mobility videochip, forcing me to operate X-Windows with the
generic VESA driver. Compaq doesn't want to release the information to
program the chip properly. Everybody else's machine (Thinkpads,
Toshiba's) fly like jets, breaking all speeding limits, while mine is
dog slow. So far so good for the mistake of ordering a Compaq laptop.
We've got a RH8 server though, and the administrator balks at the idea
of upgrading already.
We've solved it by compiling the snapshot on the server, and then
compiling the XmlRpc servant. It works fine now. I just don't think I
will become an ardent supporter of this procedure.
