Build error: unable to detect exception model ??

Hi there!
Sory for asking again, but in order to make swing working, I want to have a ne gcj-version which has a working swt.
So I downloaded the snapsht of 3.2.
I only untart gcc-core and and gcc-java.
Make worked fine, make throwed the following error:
> checking for exception model to use... configure: error: unable to detect exception model

Do you kno what that should mean?
Is something missing?
