Hi, Since one of the primary maintainers of Automake (Tom) is also one of the primary maintainers for GCJ, I am putting this question in this forum: Is there really any need for a separate "GCJ Automake" as found in: http://mirrors.rcn.net/pub/sourceware/java/automake-gcj-1.4.tar.gz now that the main Automake is at version 1.7.5 and almost all the problems with Automake at least as described in: http://www.davidpashley.com/tutorials/gcj-automake.html seem to have been resolved by 1.6.2? Is there still something left out that GCJ needs and that Automake 1.7.5 doesn't have? As an aside, IMHO there's no need for a separate build instructions page for GCJ as found in: http://gcc.gnu.org/java/build-snapshot.html when the instructions in the main GCC installation pages: http://gcc.gnu.org/install/ work just fine.
