Isn't it an issue that there are a lot of java programmers out there who
never touched make or shell scripts? It's not like it's hard to learn,
but it kind of silly to relearn everything over and over and over just
because your tools aren't available.
I was looking into Ant because of a little private project (that is
going nowhere at the moment, due to external causes). But I wanted to
use Ant with some customised tasks alongside Makefiles, because the XML
structuring allowing easier GUI implementation. It's also an easy win
for Make compared to Ant because Make has been around for ages, and
certainly is a very powerful tool. I am learning about Make and Ant
everyday.
bom dias.
