GCC 3.3 MingW Crossed-Native Build Fails on fastjar

I had done some more digging before you answered and found this line
in mingw32.h. My "solution" (before I read yours) was to patch the
line in mingw32.h and rebuild the cross compiler.
Two questions:
- Is this slated to become part of gcc? (In other words, we don't need
to submit a patch for this, which is why you're telling me to hack my
local cross compiler?) I'm asking this because I did a search on all
mailing lists for "mingwex" and came up dry, which makes me wonder whether
a patch was ever submitted to gcc. (Then again, the search engine is
awful and I can't do things like "mingw32.h" or "-lmingwex".)
- I also found a similar line in win32.h which also looks like it needed
to be patched in a similar way. However, it said the target was WinNT 3.x.
Do you know if win32.h needs to be patched in a similar way?
