darwin threads on boehm-gc was Re: Status page

That's definitely the right plan. Jeff has been trying to get that to work (http://www.hpl.hp.com/hosted/linux/mail-archives/gc/2003-February/000032.html), but encountered some unexpected pthreads behavior.
