Good time to bring this up...
The libgcj commit rate has been pretty high lately. At some point it
is going to have to slow down so we can test and stabilize for the
release.
Exactly when, I don't know. 3.4 doesn't really look like it is in the
near future.
I know it is Stage 3 right now, but the rules for Java have always
been different. In the 3.5 (or whatever it is called, see the gcc
discussion) cycle I expect we'll be more strict (and stricter still in
the following cycle) as we near ABI stability.
FWIW I'm not concerned about AWT or Swing changes -- those can
continue up to the release as long as they compile, since they can't
possibly make the situation worse :-).
