I don't mean to ask a dumb question, but what's the problem with
SourceForge? I've maintained a SourceForge "project" almost since the
beginning, to basically serve as a download server for various little
open-source apps I've written. I was also primary maintainer for the
MinGW team's website (hosted on SF) for about a year. I wouldn't
describe the environment as "perfect", but it's certainly usable... and
certainly a great deal for the price.
Mohan, if you don't have time to maintain a SourceForge account for
downloads, I'd be more than happy to contribute by volunteering to
maintain one for you. I could get a project established almost
immediately (depending on turnaround time for SF approval). When you
have a new build you could just upload it to some private area of
"thisiscool.com", send me an email letting me know it's there, and I
could handle adding it properly to the downloads section of your SF
account.
If you're able to get your bandwidth issues "sorted out" (hopefully
without having to pay large amount of extra money out-of-pocket), then
that would be ideal. However, the offer's on the table if things don't
work out with your service provider.
