SWT and gcj - any license issues?

There's a page on www.gnu.org that describes free licenses and their
compatibilities.
Note that libgcj is under the GPL+exception, which is different. I'm
sure SWT is compatible.

It will always be separate. However, it might be integrated into
rhug. http://sources.redhat.com/rhug/

We have a lot of AWT already. On the trunk it can run a simple demo
program. (It really needs a lot more work though.)
The answer here is the same non-answer as always: we'll have these
when someone writes them.
