The odd thing is, I did it this morning again, a make -j 4 bootstrap ;
make -k check.
No other build in parallel.
And it went fine. When I have a second bootstrap ongoing then it fails.

[enterprise:~] andreas% runtest --version
WARNING: Couldn't find the global config file.
Expect version is 5.38.0
Tcl version is 8.4
Framework version is 1.4.3
I have the same on darwin, but there I only have one CPU ;(

Well, I could rebuild the tools by myself. But last time I did, it
didn't improve. I did not have these troubles on solaris 8.

On darwin yes, on linuxppc they're a bit older.

As said, I had the same failure on darwin once. But after I got a tuned
kernel the error went away.
Could try.
But I wonder what other users use, I mailed mmitchell to ask, but no
response so far. I may should ask Gerald P. Since this machine seems to
be located in austria ;).
