status of java.nio?

The API is in place, I'm currently working on getting the 
implementation ready. There are still some problems to solve. Then I 
can submit/commit patches to fix the things missing.
If you want you can tell me what features do you want most.
Perhaps I will then push my work into that direction. ;-)
