I've tried to further investigate this (running dejagnu manaully with
RUNTESTFLAGS='-v -v --target_board "unix{-m64}"'. In libjava.log, I find
the execution tests failing with
loading to unix/-m64
spawning command /vol/gcc/obj/gcc-3.1-20020313/8-gcc-java/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/libjava/testsuite/Array_1 
spawn [open ...]
9 file8
close result is child killed: illegal instruction
Executed /vol/gcc/obj/gcc-3.1-20020313/8-gcc-java/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/libjava/testsuite/Array_1, status 1
FAIL: Array_1 execution from source compiled test
Rerunning the same test manually with the appropriate setting of
LD_LIBRARY_PATH extracted from libjava.log runs just fine ;-( I've no idea
what's going on here.
