There's still time to contribute your ideas, proposals, and papers
for invited talks, refereed papers, work-in-progress reports, and
symposia tracks for the 2002 JVM Research Symposium.
Paper submissions are due February 4, 2002.
Research papers should describe original work that offers significant
contributions to the state of JVMs. Experience papers should describe
general insights gained from, e.g., porting, integrating, or tuning
JVMs -- insights that can be applied by other practitioners in the
field.

Awards for the best paper and the best paper that is primarily the
work of a student will be selected and presented at the Symposium.
Java Virtual Machine Research and Technology Symposium 2002 (JVM'02)

JVM'02 will include 2 days of technical sessions emphasizing research
and advanced engineering techniques applicable to the development of
Java Virtual Machines, with a particular emphasis on experimental
results. A works-in-progress session will provide for reports on
projects in their preliminary stages. Symposium Proceedings will be
printed and distributed to attendees.
We look forward to seeing you in August 2002 in San Francisco!
