I was just running jython and it starts up with... Jython 2.1a3 on java0.0.7 (JIT: null) >>> The 0.0.7 comes from the java.version property which we set in acinclude.m4. I don't think this version number has changed in years. Perhaps we should be using some mangling of the gcj version number. AG
