If the test zone could be loaded on there, that would be an option. 
They could not be used just as they are, because I need various odd test
cases. For example when a DNS reply is more than 512 bytes, the server
will not accept UDP queries and requires TCP. However virtually all
queries of real zones are less than 512 bytes. In order to test that
the provider falls back to TCP properly, I need to have a name with a
very large number of DNS records.
I think, though, that I would rather continue loading the "test." zone
on the local machine. That way the tests are more repeatable because
network problems will not get in the way.
