Datagrams - Permission Denied Error

Hello, everyone.
I'm running RedHat 7.1, Kernel 2.4, and GCJ 2.9. I wrote a simple program 
that sends a Datagram Packet to 255.255.255.255. I'm getting a "Permission 
Deined" IOException in DatagramSocket.send().
Any idea why this is happening? Doesn't happen when I run it using the Java 
VM, only when I use gcj.
Any help would be really appreciated.
