I wonder if a Mauve test is appropriate here, given that it is not an
externally-specified package. I don't know of a better place to put
the tests though.
I think as long as the test procedure is documented and is in theory
reproducible on some other system (than yours), then that is good
enough. Some things are simply hard to test.
