Having read the thread, I believe that your patch should
be reconsidered in light of that GCJ can be used as a
packaging tool.
I have a couple of jars that I compile that I do not have
source for, hence the argument in the thread above
that the GCJ compiler should not generate bytecodes that are
not reachable does not apply to this case.
What would it take to have the patch reconsidered?
Simply post a followup to the old thread? Repost the patch
with an explanation about the new information?
