Having trouble fixing XGraphics.setFont crash

Update: The test application works now, after I was able to get glibc 2.3.1
installed (using the new RPMs for rawhide, and a lot of swearing). I had
tried earlier to install the new glibc, but I gave up in frustration at that
time. Once I got the library installed, I did a "make bootstrap" on gcc,
and that's what fixed it.
It looks like there were problems somehow between gcj 3.2.1 and glibc
2.2.93.
