I always forget, so I just put a breakpoint on _exit.
The default gcc .gdbinit puts breakpoints on fancy_abort, exit, and abort.
(There's a function like internal_error or something that you can put
a breakpoint on. I just forget the name. And all it saves you is a
few stack frames anyway.)
