Is this patch ok? Did this patch got into CVS?

Which program generates these dependency files?

Do you think it makes sense to post this patch and the others 
you mentioned regarding fastjar etc. within an apropriate 
#ifdef to the java-patches mailing list?

Which make are you using? The one that comes with MSYS or
the one that comes with mingw? Either way I guess the right
way is to post this problem with a stack trace to the
mingw/MSYS developers. In the meantime it may be possible 
to extract the necessary compile instructions by issuing a 
'make -n' command or something.
Keep us posted about any progress.
